The 2012 War-Torn league season has begun!

This year-long program gives players a chance to shine in nearly all aspects of the hobby: painting and modeling, faction mastery, and working with a teammate to achieve victory for the greater good.

Divided into four seasons, the league kicks off this week with Season 1: Gnarls and continues through the year with the following schedule:

• Gnarls: Feb. 6 - March 4
• Olgunholt: April 16 - May 13
• Thornwood: June 18 - July 15
• Under the Thornwood: Sept. 10 - Oct. 7

Each season will feature faction pairings that represent uneasy alliances bent on conquering territory on Privateer's interactive map. Not only will your battles influence the league's storyline, they will also determine which faction controls what on the battlefield.

Players will be able to earn commendations for participation, hobby, combat and Alliance play, and the overall winner will be awarded the season medal. Make sure to check the league rules for each season to find out what is required to unlock these achievements.

As in previous years, the League will feature special Season models but, this time, you’ll have the option to field the allied league models as well. Play a big enough game and you’ll be able to field both allied armies at once!

And that's not all: War-Torn Alliances introduces a new element called Upgrades. These Upgrades are earned after battling opponents during the course of each season, and represent enhancements to your battle-seasoned warjacks and warbeasts. Upgrades are faction specific and will change each season.

Official League days have been set for Thursdays, but feel free to use our forums and online event scheduler if you are unable to attend or would like to play more than once per week.

Journeyman League starts with a bang!

Our very first Journeyman League kicked off yesterday and, even do it conflicted with the Super Bowl, our Warmachine & Hordes players showed up in force to support their favorite store.

Most of the 21 registered players showed up to play on day one and, with games being played almost daily, it's anyone's guess what the scoreboard will look like when the league ends in six weeks.

Current standings can be seen on our website and will be updated on a weekly basis starting next Sunday.
